WHERE AM I GOING?
Jessica Ferrucci
Every day is a learning process, especially as a broke college student. I've always been bad at journaling, but I wanted to follow my journey through the General Business program at Ferris State University. I created this website to showcase my work as I continue to hone my skills during my time in Big Rapids, and to have a place where my thoughts and experiences can be seen.
VISION STATEMENT
My purpose is to grow and expand like the universe does each day. I want to be like the trees, which stand tall regardless of the wind and storms. The oceans, which have strength and power in their waters. The plants, which reach towards the sun, taking their time to grow as big as they can. Replanting is hard, so I won’t do it often, but I will strive to grow taller and dig deeper. There is always the capacity to grow and re-root, with a little help from my loved ones. I will never leave a watering can empty, but rather, fill it back up so others can grow as well. I will never stop falling in love with the little things; I promise to always love myself more than yesterday, but not as much as I will tomorrow.

Yours truly,
Jessica Ferrucci
ASPIRATIONS 2020
1. In the long run, the sharpest weapon of all is a kind and gentle spirit. So, I will try to forgive others as quickly as I have been forgiven.

2. Mental and physical health matter, so I will make them my priority. These are the only mind, body, and spirit I get in this lifetime, so it is important to treat them with respect and to take care of them.

3. In the future, I want to be able to be more accepting and giving of life. I would like to try to roll with the punches and stay flexible to stay on the track for success.

VITAL BEHAVIORS
"the smallest set of actions that lead to the results you want. They are the few high-leverage actions that if you keep doing, produce the outcomes you're after."

ASPIRATIONÂ TO REALITY
1. Vital behaviors that will help me achieve this goal would be to listen to both sides of the conflict, especially when I am involved. It’s also good to use logic over emotion and be empathetic to the person’s situation. Overall, I will try to be more understanding of others but also myself.

2. Vital behaviors to help me attain this goal would be to take 5 minutes each day to reflect on the day's highs and lows, so I remember to take the good with the bad. I will try to be more balanced emotionally to stay on top of my daily life. I would also like to be more flexible and do yoga or go to the gym to help me keep in shape, to look and feel good.

3. Vital behaviors that would help me reach this goal would be to say the serenity prayer when I start to get anxious. Another practice would be to wake up with a task in mind, because intention can change a whole day, and knowing when to admit I need help. Letting go of imperfections is essential to building self esteem. I would also like to take time to connect with people for more genuine human interactions.
